Review

This is one of my favorite shows. John Krasinski is an outstanding actor and this show is really one of the primer examples of that. The entire team does such an amazing job that it is really a disappointment that this show has ended.

The gun work, tradecraft, action, and drama are EVERYTHING that you want from a TV show, especially a Tom Clancy show. The writing is truly top notch and they did their homework to make the show accurate. A very notable expectation to this is really the opening scene with Jack riding his bicycle to work. I can't tell you how many people make fun of it because it makes no sense. Georgetown, Andrews, Capitol Hill, CIA, etc. I know it is for TV, but they could have given him a real path.

There are 4 seasons and each one really does stand on its own. There are some seasons that are better than others. Specially my least favorite is the second season. It was entertaining, but I just feel that it could have been a lot better, however it does introduce us to Mr. November and he is a favorite in the house.

Without spoiling anything, which is always the case, the fourth season is honestly really good. Might be my favorite if I honestly look at the seasons for their product themselves. However, season one really is an amazing season of work and it set up this wonderful show.

My Rating

Hands down my favorite long form show. There are minimal filler episodes, non-stop action and intrigue. 9/10.

Parental Rating

Language is minimal, no real gore and violence is there, but not excessive. There is no real heart warming sense to this show, but it's all about love for a country that has provided us so much. Approved by both my parents.
