Synopsis

Batman has worked hard to make Gotham safer and that has made the criminals desperate. Desperate enough to call in the Joker who just creates chaos in his wake for all involved.

Review

Heath Ledger. His performance alone made this movie Oscar worthy and I am pretty sure he did win an Oscar for this role. He is just outstanding and completely believable as an "Agent of Chaos." For some really in depth analysis about his actions in this movie, watch this video.

Christian Bale's voice is just so deep in parts of this movie that now that the memes are 100% on point. It is so dumb at times especially when "Batman" is on his high horse or has lots of dialogue it just sounds so stupid. He does a great job, but I really hate his voice in this movie.

The action and story are great. Batman is violent and aggressive and works to solve the issue while protecting innocents. Also, even with the loss of Heath, the story is pushed forward and you can see where it will go next and the next beats that are there with the players involved.

My Rating

This is a solid movie and the biggest reason it isn't a 10 is the voice. It is crazy in this movie. Heath had the biggest back muscles carrying this movie to the easy 9 that it is with his performance and just to watch that again was a true pleasure. Go watch this again.

Parental Rating

Minimal language, but some psychological elements in this story that may make it more difficult to deal with for people like my mom. Violence, but no gore, and no sex. My dad would enjoy this movie. Dad approved and Mom rejected.
