Synopsis

This movie is about time travel. Time travel that works differently than Back to the Future and Avenger’s Endgame. Lots different. The main thing to keep in mind is that time travel is more like the fight in Doctor Strange where he is reversing time in the streets of Hong Kong. What I mean by that is that the people time traveling have to deal with time flowing in reverse, not the instantaneous appear back at a different time and place. This is important.

The main plot is that someone has figured out how to travel through time due to radiation. There is a lot of in universe science here, so I am making it easy,

Review

Christopher Nolan. I am not sure if this dude thinks in the same manner as other humans. From this to Interstellar, Inception, or Batman, these movies are so crazy that you have to pay attention to them. No watching your phone. So, put down your phone, turn off the lights, and watch this movie.

I know people hate Robert Pattinson because of the Twilight Films and his short stent in Harry Potter, but he did a great job. His portrayal of his super smart CIA agent is not overly done and easily received. You feel like you want him to be the lead. Speaking of the lead, John Washington, he was awesome.

This movie is full of action, drama, and more twist that a pretzel factory. The story is so well organized and full of easter eggs that you can easily miss that would give you the story, but you just don't see them the first time through. You will want to watch this again.

My Rating

Loved this movie. I think about the intricacies all the time when I think about movies, comparing this to other should-be-great movies. This is an 8.5. IMDB says 7.3 and I think they are very wrong. The movie is highly entertaining with action and story, and the only reason it isn't perfect is because it is a bit heady, but a 7.3 is wrong.

Parental Rating

Dad would totally be on board. I think it he would be a little confused like the rest of us, but not so much he would not like it. Lots of violence and very heady, my mom would be out.
